Mechanical Handling Equipment Courses

GM Training offer a wide range of mechanical handling equipment courses.

Our training follows the approved code of practice and guidance contained in relevant HSE legislation and is accredited by BRITTOp.

The approved code of practice and the Health and Safety at Work Act requires that employers must ensure that all persons operating equipment on or off their premises are adequately trained. We are able to offer courses for both novice and experienced operators and those requiring refreshers and re-tests. We also offer on-site instructor training courses.

Experienced Operator

Operator Refresher/Re-Test

Employees who have had formal training and certification who wish to have current skill base updated/refreshed.

Operator Conversion

Employees who hold certification and wish to expand training. (e.g. counterbalance trained and wish to expand to reach truck). Course duration is dependent on trainees' current skill level.
