Mechanical Handling Equipment Courses
GM Training offer a wide range of mechanical handling equipment courses.
Our training follows the approved code of practice and guidance contained in relevant HSE legislation and is accredited by BRITTOp.
The approved code of practice and the Health and Safety at Work Act requires that employers must ensure that all persons operating equipment on or off their premises are adequately trained. We are able to offer courses for both novice and experienced operators and those requiring refreshers and re-tests. We also offer on-site instructor training courses.
Novice Operator
Employees with no previous experience and no formal training.
Experienced Operator
Employees who have some operating experience but have no formal training and are not certified at present.
Operator Refresher/Re-Test
Employees who have had formal training and certification who wish to have current skill base updated/refreshed.
Operator Conversion
Employees who hold certification and wish to expand training. (e.g. counterbalance trained and wish to expand to reach truck). Course duration is dependent on trainees' current skill level.Training available on the following equipment
